Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for assisting students, organising examinations locally, promoting CII qualifications and organising training that will benefit our members.

Social Committee

This Committee is dedicated to arranging social events for our members, this gives us the opportunity to not only socialise but network as well.  We host a number of events during the year that will appeal to all.  We hold a cricket and golf tournament every year and this year saw the introduction of a ten pin bowling competition.

New members are always welcome, particulary those who have just joined the industry.

Careers Committee

The Careers Committee is a recently formed committee that has the responsibility for acting as a focal point for careers activities within the local institute area.  Many schools and colleges invite the institute along to their careers evenings and to give careers talks.  It is a key role of this committee to try to support these events.  The Committee is looking to further develop its contacts with local schools and to provide information and informed advice on careers in all aspects of insurance and financial services.

The committee's activities are mainly related to young people and if you feel that you would like to be involved in supporting any of its activities please contact the Institute office.
