75 YEARS OF BROADHURST AND COMPANY
We were founded in 1936 by Mr Leslie Broadhurst at 81 Dale Street Liverpool, although our activities were suspended whilst Mr Broadhurst served King and country during the Second World War.
Mr Leslie Broadhurst was tragically killed in a car accident in the Birkenhead Tunnel in 1969 but the business continued under the leadership of his son Mr John Broadhurst and later in partnership with Mr Robert Graham.
When Mr Broadhurst retired in 2002 he passed on the reigns fully to Rob Graham and Jeremy Williams who together now have over 50 years experience in the business and are continuing to operate based on the same values as our founder by offering a professional and personal service.
Since 1974 we have operated from Bridge House, Bridge Road, West Kirby, Wirral and are proud to have a number of long-standing and even third generation clients.
We have been members of the Corporation of Insurance Brokers, Insurance Brokers’ Registration Council, British Insurance Brokers Association and the Chartered Insurance Institute and we are now part of the Westinsure Broker Network.
We hold accounts with all the major composites and some long departed and lamented names and still hold some original Agency Appointment Letters going back to our formation.
Here’s to the next 75 years
