If you are studying for a CII qualification, we are aware of the level of commitment and dedication required in order to achieve the best possible result.
Face to face training is organised in Liverpool via the Insurance Partnership (ITP). These come in the form of 6 interactive 4 hour workshops, conducted in the four months leading up to the examinations in April or October. New courses are now available please download article from our news page.
Following the success of our existing training initiatives with ITP, the Institute intends to extend this training and coaching to the members studying for the Diploma of the PFS.
As part of the RDR Report, announcements made by the FSA in November 2008, the qualification of Diploma level has been agreed as the minimum level of attainment to retain whole of market 'independent status' in the retail financial landscape.
ITP via Mr Alan Foulkes will offer a 1 day pre examination coaching.
Alan is a Fellow of the CII and a very experienced face to face Trainer of the CII. He has worked for Standard Life and now offers bespoke training to some of the UK's leading financial institutions
For the October examinations. coaching courses lasting 3 full days or 6 1/2 days will be available for the Diploma level exams:-
J01 - Personal Tax
J02 - Trust
J07 - Supervision in a regulated environmentlated environment

Foundation Level Training
The Institute also recognises the important need to provide entry level support to those members who need to attain Certificate level before embarking on the Diploma PFS courses.
Mr Keith Marshall of Beacon Training will offer Foundation Training for SIFA
1, 2,3 and 4 equivalent to CERT PFS, together with Cmap coaching for the mortgage qualification.
The coaching is provided by one week intensive courses for each subject
